Located near the Atlantic Ocean in fabulous Jacksonville Beach, Florida. We were founded as a business dedicated to the delivery of fine coffees and teas served in a relaxed, customer oriented atmosphere. Unlike large chains that roast huge quantities of coffee in one roasting, frequently grinding it at the warehouse location, storing it for long periods of time, and then shipping it across the country, we strive to take an individual approach.
Coffee Bistro uses only 100% Arabica Beans that are roasted in small batches. In doing so we are able to control the two major factors in providing high quality coffee, the quality of the original bean and the amount of time between roasting and consumption. We roast beans six to twelve times per week depending on the needs of our customers and the variety of coffees offered. Our beans are also ground just before brewing to reduce exposure to oxygen, which can reduce the flavor and quality of the product you recieve.
Specialty coffees and flavors are offered daily in an effort to introduce a wide variety to our customers. Either Sumatra, Colombian, Guatemalan, Costa Rican, and French Roast are offered along with a "Flavor Roasted" coffee. Not adding syrup to our coffee after it has been brewed our "Flavor Roasted" coffees have the flavoring roasted with the beans to provide a true flavor. Flavors often on hand include Banana, Coconut, Toasted Almond, Southern Pecan, White Chocolate Raspberry, Hazelnut, and French Vanilla.
Espresso drinks are hand made with a state-of-the-art espresso machine. Choose from a Latte, Cappuccino, Breve, Mocha, or Cubano that is made per your request.
A large variety of tea is also available. Choose from Green, Black, Oolongs, Rooybos, Chai, or Mate. Enjoy it by the cup, pot, or take some dry loose leaves to enjoy later at home.
Although coffee is our main focus, we offer a variety of fresh baked goods, signature sandwiches, and soups. Gift cards can be purchased in an assortment of denominations to best serve your needs. Wonderful gift baskets can be purchased or design your own with an assortment of teas, coffee, biscotti, pots, presses, and cups.
